Well I got busy with real life and Xcom then Civilization5 then Shogun2 then Limbo etc etc & ofc Portal2 my Favorite game of all time and a time sink for me even after all this time has passed since Portal2 released. There were other things getting in the way too and I when I decided I want to restart I wanted to do this blog/website on my domain gamergyanis.com the s in the gyanis is coz I have a couple of friends who have promised to me that they'd be very very happyy to lend some posts and other cool stuff such as videos and pics.
So anyway when it came out I played it on my brothers account on steam and that game just blew me away. Portal 1 to me had been amazing enough to make or you could almost call it force my dad and sis to learn wsad + mouse style of gaming, (both x gamers before the era of half life2) and then show them portal, after I held their hands for a bit for the first couple of puzzles they both were addicted, couldn't stop playing about it nor could they stop raving about it.
Then after a while portal 2 came out and anybody with a brain who's also a gamer knows what a top notch game it is. You could say it has a fantastic story, some very humorous comedy, romance [spoiler]companion cube[/spoiler], action (I'm different), plot twists just as you would say about a movie and then add to that brilliant game play based on a gun in your hand but to make portals and find ways to get to the next level [spoiler]glados[/spoiler] wants you to go through. Despite her very funny jokes I did come to love her for a while but by the end of portal 1 I hated her, Portal 2 I felt sympathy for the thing but it still wouldn't stop with her sarcastic quips LOL. Amd its here I will shamelessly I will promote my youtube by asking you to check out my portal1,2 gameplay video here.
By the way if you are asking yourself why the talk about portal 2 now then its because I am doing another playthrough of Portal1 and Portal2 and even though I don't have a steady coop partner for the coop campaign or custom maps, its so much fun to revisit my favorite game ever.....
Anyways if you come across this post and want to do the campaign with me the coop I mean, do ket me know, we'll make it happen somehow......
