Turms out that Gaming can actually be good for your kids

We all knew it, and we told them so but they wouldn't listen. But there's no question that gamings reputation having taken so many hits and on the ground is now standing slowly but STEADILY up. Hell yeah corporate media and generation gap plus its 2014 non comon sense, gaming wont go down so easy. There's been a ton of researches about how demonizing of gaming is wrong and that they in fact improve reflexes, imagination, ability to think around the box etc

And in the midst of all that here's an article from Indiatoday published today which adds to all the researches and non demonizing of the Games as an entertainment form sections of traditional media that gaming wont make your son/some daughters a asocial type, psycopath, a loner, a moron or anything bad on the contrary if indulged in non excessive ways, they make you better. But yea you or your parent (if your a kid reading this) has to draw some lines unless you want them to turn into hardcore gamers like yours truly here :D  (We can do jobs, have good relationships with people, act well [Sharukh Khans admitted in countless interviews he likes to play video games and he's in the playstation/pc camp btw] so please give our hobby a break all of you around us)

courtsey: IndiaToday....Go boyo (cos I like blue is all)

Having said all that, it also needs to be said that gamers please dont take advantage of researches of these types and spoil your life by living to game, life and its boring errands should always come first then a couple of hours of gaming here a couple there and life's still cool... comprende?

Xcom Enemy Within Completes the game

Hi y'all

Today was the first time that 2k has impressed me with something good in a good little while. I had preordered Xcom Enemy Unknown way back in October 2012 because of all the hype being created about the game back then and I had downloaded and played the demo as soon as it was available and yeah the demo had blown me away but as I explained in my review of the game on Steam, the game just didnt hit the spot. Here's my review of the game on steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/bratprince/recommended/200510?snr=1_5_9__402 profile page http://steamcommunity.com/id/bratprince/ some of my main problems with the game were ai was too overpowered in that it would hit from a full screen away while your will be given 5% chance of hitting the ai if the roles were reversed then there was how the flanking system works and the aiming percentages too which were way off... I still however enjoyed the game enough to finish it once and then trying out several ironaman (a single save is maintained by the game and if your Lt Sniper died or you mucked up some teching choice, its permanent) mode games on classic difficulty (finished only once lol)

Still an expansion came out a while ago and people like my own steam friends were saying it completes the game, balances it, makes the flanking and aiming system much better, improves multiplayer, adds new enemies and resources and quite a bit more but I was skeptical and didnt get it but when I saw an awesome deal on Flipkart here... the game + ITS EXPANSION ENEMY WITHIN all for 499 rs I could not resist and got it and I have to say my friends were indeed right this completes the game by fixing quite a few things and adding quite a few things too...(I can tell you they were right because I have been playing it all day and boy am I having a blast) Tinkering with the new resource "Meld" and the new structures+ managing a lot of the old stuff is fin indeed. so well now it finally feels like a complete game AND MORE IMPORTANTLY... worthy of the praise people lavish on Xcom Enemy Unknown. So if you like strategy games and would like to check out what all the Xcom fuss is about is or if you are like me, stuck with the original game only, definitely give this package a try.
and thanks fliipkart for the quick delivery as always cheers
