After Fallout 3's humongous success about a year and half or two years after that Fallout New Vegas was released only this time, Bethesda didn't develop the game inhouse but outsourced the development of the game to Obsidian entertainment (a developer of great renown known for games like South Park: The Stick Of Truth, Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland 2, Alpha Protocol, Nevewinter Nights 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II among others) and to nobody's astonishment, at least not mine, the game turned out fantastic. It had improvements in every aspect over Fallout 3 in both gameplay and story/character departments only the graphics were pretty much the same because both the games were developed on the same game engine. So I had forlorn hopes that Bethesda would make obsidian develop the game again and hence my slight disappointment.
Anyways, as I said previously Fallout 3 was no slouch either and to be honest it was the game that laid the groundwork for Obsidians version of Fallout. So in any case we know that Bethesda is gonna take all of what it's learned from developing Fallout 3 & Skyrim and New Vegas and Dishonored (a pretty nice steampunk stealth based cloak and dagger type of game Bethesda made after Skyrim) and run with it and score a touchdown with a brilliant game with new innovations and a storyline with characters that will make even our balls weep with joy. Now Bethesda is rumored to have been working on the game since 2012 after they finished releasing the final DLC for their other rich and famous series the Elder Scroll series of which the last the game was Skyrim and it was released in 2011. If that is the case, then a lot of the work on the game must have been done already.
Be that as it may since the game is going to be released on the consoles PS4, Xbox One along with the PC as most games are these days, the release date (which unfortunately hasn't been announced yet) might just extend well into 2016 as Bethesda tries to best optimize the game for the consoles (which accounted for a huge huge chunk of sales for Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas and Dishonored as well) The PC is no slouch either when it comes to sales figures for AAA games like these but then Consoles do tend to add millions to the final sales figures so Bethesda or any game company can't really be faulted for trying to cater to console gamers.
Okay, the other thing I know about the game is that unlike Fallout 3 which was set in a post apocalyptic Washington DC and Fallout New Vegas in New Vegas of course duh Fallout 4 is to be set in a ruinistic post apocalyptic Boston (no the series is not going outside the US as some of us wished not for now at least) as many had rightly predicted on various forums that yours truly frequented for years after playing Fallout New Vegas to a) discuss various aspects fallout new vegas and to b)post and discuss his fantasies about how Fallout 4 will be or what or how it should be.
Three Dog: "OOWWWW"
Yes, the hugely entertaining and memorable radio Jockey has been confirmed as being in Fallout 4. I can't wait to hear him howl his name after every few lines he says once again. To be honest I just loved the radio in the Pip Boy@ in both modern Fallout games (consider that as a c with a circle as in copyright Yeah well I dont know how to type a copyright sign and am too lazy to google now) and to be honest, I am hoping that Bethesda takes a leaf out of Rockstar's book and do many radio stations with lots of content. Holy Shit!! think about how that will transform the game. Well that is all that I know about Fallout 4 so far but be sure that I am gonna follow every new piece of info that comes out about the game like a hound dog follows a hound and let you know asap. So if you wanna keep updated on Fallout 4, you will do well to keep up with this blog. Now for xcom...

Alright again I am gonna take the approach that you are a shitty gamer who just plays bling bling games like Call of Duty and Battlefield and doesn't know shit about the good ones that also keep coming. Well Xcom Enemy Unknown is a turn based tactical game that came out in 2012 and was developed by Firaxis games and published by 2k entertainment yeah the same guys who make and publish the Civilization series of games. (played Civ5? no? well you missed another nice game again)
Okay well since Videos are easily available these days that explain most things, here's a couple of videos which should give you an idea of the kind of game Xcom Enemy Unknown is, directly after that is the trailer or announcement video for Xcom 2. Watch and learn:
Now for the Xcom 2 release trailer:-
Now I am gonna do the second lazy thing in this post. I am going to post a video made by "Great British Gaming" which is titled 'everything we know about Xcom 2 so far' and after watching the video I got the impression that the title is pretty justified. So make sure to watch the video to know all that's come out so far about Xcom 2 and to hear some interesting speculation as well. Click Play again then.. on you go...
Okay, just for the record, Xcom 2 is going to get the hound dog treatment until release and for a while after that as well just like Fallout 4....
So that's it for this one. Ill be back with more soon.
